On a hillside near the Pamunkey River, breathtaking views and a rich history welcome you to Saude Creek Vineyards. A colonial inn and publick house called Frank's Tavern once welcomed visitors to where our winery sits today, convenient to what was then the Colonial capital of Williamsburg. George Washington and the French General Rochambeau, among other patriots and notables of the time, reputedly slaked their thirst here.
