On the grounds of one of Virginia’s oldest plantations, Effingham Manor is a place where wine and history meet. Be it in the 270 year old Manor House, on the historic grounds, or in the newly constructed winery building, our guests are treated to a history lesson, while enjoying Virginia’s finest wines.
Among the sites are the states oldest swimming pool (now a Koi Pond), notable outer buildings, parlor rooms in the manor, and a small Chamboucin Vineyard. Food trucks each weekend, special events and educational sessions throughout the year and Virginia’s finest wine make Effingham a place where you can make your own history.
